2018-2019 APPROVED BUDGET

BUDGET CREATION PROCESS

The budget is developed by a budget committee, which evaluates new budgetary requests, reviews programs that have occurred, and makes recommendations to the Board of Directors. Its members usually include several other PTA leaders who have knowledge of past PTA projects, and what might be appropriate plans for its future. The committee is chaired by the treasurer, who presents the committee’s recommendations to the Board of Directors.

REQUESTING PTSA FUNDS

The CHS PTSA Board is always happy to hear about new programs, events or activities to support; requests can come from Centennial High School staff or PTSA members. We also want to know if current funding is no longer sufficient enough to support an activity or program. The CHS PTSA Budget for 2017-2018 has been approved and no additional requests will be funded at this time. However, if fundraising goals are met, there may be an opportunity to request funds in the Spring of 2018.
